Tradelink was founded in 1989 in London, with purchasing offices established in South-East Asia and Brazil. Management's long-standing relationships with suppliers and customers enabled Tradelink's rapid development over the following decades.

The company is dedicated to the sourcing, shipping, manufacturing, warehousing and marketing of hardwoods, plywood and wood products.

The company has sales offices in 7 countries: Canada, China, France, Portugal, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, and procurement offices in South America, North America, Malaysia, Singapore and China.

Tradelink has a processing plant (flooring, decking, components) in Brazil.

The company has a responsible purchasing policy that is audited by a third party, the UK Timber Trade Federation, and ensures respect for the environment in accordance with the US Lacey and EU Timber Regulations. All offices worldwide have obtained FSC® and PEFC chain-of-custody certification.

With regard to its purchasing policy, the Tradelink Group supports international efforts to improve forest management and the development of credible wood certification systems. The company recognizes that independent certification of forests and the processing chain is a useful tool for guaranteeing that wood comes from legal, well-managed forests. The company only accepts or uses labels with environmental or sustainable development requirements.
