The marketing programme

This programme, funded by the AFD (French Development Agency) and the PPECF, aims to promote tropical timber in international markets. The objective is to provide reliable technical data and an objective view of what is produced by ATIBT’s members, who are users of timber as well as consumers and prescribers. This information relates to the tropical timber markets, standardisation and the dissemination of knowledge and best practices inherent in the trade. Members receive support that helps them establish elements of language and selling points, as well as improve their visibility (Carrefour International du Bois and Dubai WoodShow). This programme contributes to the association’s communication mediums, such as the ATIBT website and the distribution of technical publications, and it also makes it possible to organise major events such as ATIBT’s international forum.
