TOUBOIS is the French specialist in custom technical and decorative panels. Since 1947, Toubois has been manufacturing custom technical and decorative panels, from small to medium series. With its high level of technical know-how, Toubois is able to carry out all types of projects in the nautical, shipbuilding, traditional and industrial woodworking, vehicle fitting, railway and interior design sectors.
Toubois and the companies Placages Déroulés du Gabon, Allin, Multideck and Leroy Déroulage de Champagne, major actors in the wood processing sector since 2002, have created the Arbor Group. After having acquired and economically recovered 5 specialized companies in 18 years, the Arbor Group was born from a desire to structure itself and assert its know-how, from forestry to the manufacture and delivery of finished products (plywood and decorative & technical panels) for its distribution and industrial clients in the joinery, fittings, transport, nautical and shipbuilding sectors.
In July 2020, while the companies were announcing the creation of the Arbor Group, Eric LE MIÈRE, its president, announced the creation of a new veneer company in Libreville, Gabon: CPL (Compagnie des placages de la Lowé), specializing in the manufacture of peeled okoumé veneers and exotic woods (Sapelli, Movingui, etc.) and a large-scale partnership in Gabon with Precious Wood, a leading forestry company that manages 600,000 hectares of FSC-certified timber.
The Arbor Group employs nearly 500 people (in France and Gabon) and has a turnover of €65 million.
