Triton Timber, founded in Canada in 2000 and acquired by a French group in 2019, is the world leader in the recovery and reuse of submerged wood.
Thanks to our patented SHARC™ technology, we harvest trees from depths of up to 30 meters without disturbing the ecosystem or affecting the living forest.
With 14 projects underway internationally, Triton offers a concrete and sustainable alternative to wood from deforestation, based on an existing resource.
In French Guiana, the Petit Saut dam project (Sinnamary) is a world first, with a target production of 9,000 m³/year of timber by 2025, processed by a new sawmill, three dryers, a finishing unit, and a biomass plant. This unique resource has given rise to Triton Collections (www.tritoncollections.com), our brand of submerged wood, which already offers more than 25 traceable species preserved underwater, with improved technical and aging performance combined with a reduced carbon footprint.
Intended for construction, cladding, carpentry, and high-end furniture, our woods carry a unique history and a demanding environmental commitment.
