On November 24, FSC is organizing a meeting in Belem (Brazil) on responsible trade in tropical timber, for all stakeholders in the value chain.
The meeting will be attended by professionals involved in the tropical wood trade between the European Union and Brazil: forest managers, sawmills, industrialists, traders, importers and professional organizations.
The FSC Amazon Business Encounter aims to provide a platform for professionals along the tropical timber value chain to meet, get updates on the changes in the EU market and exchange views on how to together tackle the shared challenges and drive trade of tropical timber from sustainable managed forests.
