European Union organizes a business mission to Guyana in November

As we announced in June, Guyana has ratified its FLEGT Voluntary Partnership Agreement with the EU; a Guyana delegation met with private sector representatives in Brussels at a meeting organised by the ATIBT

We would like to inform you that a delegation from the European Union in Guyana is organizing a business mission to Guyana from November 20 to 22, 2023, in collaboration with Trade Promotion Europe, the Guyana Office for Investment and other local and regional partners.

The mission is part of the EU's efforts under the Global Gateway initiatives, which aim to reduce the global investment gap by facilitating smart, clean and secure investment in sustainable infrastructure that connects goods, people and services globally. The forest sector is one of several sectors targeted by the mission.
