ATIBT welcomes a new member: Timbtrack

ATIBT is pleased to welcome Timbtrack, a Belgian company specialising in digital solutions for forest management and timber traceability. Its expertise strengthens our network in support of a sustainable and transparent forest and timber sector.

Founded by Quentin d’Huart, Timbtrack develops tools to simplify the collection, centralisation and use of forest data. The company supports forest managers, logging operators and sawmills in digitalising their activities, with solutions tailored to field requirements.

Its activities span several complementary areas:

  • Digital forest management, through a web platform and mobile application for conducting inventories, geolocating trees and monitoring operations, including in areas without network coverage.
  • Timber traceability, using radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems combined with geolocation to track logs from the forest through to processing and facilitate stock and material flow management.
  • Custom-built solutions, combining management platforms, mobile applications, satellite data and connected devices to meet the needs of sector stakeholders, including those operating in tropical regions.

For forestry companies, reliable and accessible data supports day-to-day management and supply chain monitoring. Timbtrack’s tools aim to facilitate the sharing of this information between the different links in the chain.

ATIBT looks forward to welcoming this expertise into its network and encouraging exchanges on how digital tools can support sustainable forest management and tropical timber traceability.

Welcome to Timbtrack!
