The International Day of Forests is today the occasion to relay the last film of the series of short documentaries on sustainable management produced in 2022/2023 in the framework of the Fair&Precious program.
After the release of the first two episodes and a video clip, here is the last episode of the series: "Sustainable management: for the well-being of the populations".
Filmed in the concessions of certified forestry companies members of the Fair&Precious collective in Cameroon, Gabon and the Republic of Congo, this last episode deals with the social aspects of sustainable management: actions by certified companies for health and education, employee safety, consultation with local populations to ensure the fair use of forest resources, etc. The film "Sustainable management: for the well-being of the populations" focuses on the transversality of the social requirements of sustainable management certifications.
