Register for Deloitte's webinar on the EUDR

03.10.2025

An event to clarify uncertainties and prepare the timber industry for the implementation of the European regulation.

With the European Regulation on Deforestation and Forest Degradation (EUDR) due to come into force in just three months, the European Commission is now considering postponing its implementation until 30 December 2026. In this changing context, Deloitte Sustainability is organising a webinar on 14 October at 11 a.m. entitled ‘EUDR: how to stay on course despite the turbulence’, to inform stakeholders about the latest regulatory developments and compliance prospects.

Caroline Duhesme, Director of Strategy and Innovation at ATIBT, will provide a specific perspective on the preparations being made by stakeholders in the timber industry in Africa, a key region for many supply chains.

The programme will cover:

  • The latest regulatory developments surrounding the EUDR;
  • The current level of preparation of the sectors and the obstacles encountered;
  • The compliance strategies to be prioritised in the short, medium and long term;
  • The transformation of the EUDR into a strategic lever for sustainable supply chains;
  • A focus on Africa and its specific challenges (wood, cocoa, coffee, rubber, etc.).

This webinar is aimed at all importers, processors, distributors, investors and professional organisations involved in the sectors concerned.

Join us on Tuesday 14 October, from 11am to 12pm (online, registration required).
