EUDR - One Year to implementation: A public webinar hosted by FSC

FSC is pleased to invite you to an upcoming public webinar on 18th of January focused on the European Union’s Regulation on Deforestation Free Products (commonly known as EUDR).

During this webinar FSC will provide an overview to its stakeholders on the efforts FSC has undertaken, in particular with updates on : 

  1. The latest policy and political developments in the evolution of the EUDR and FSC’s engagement in that world

  2. What FSC has been doing to prepare and align the FSC certification system to better support and add further value for FSC certificate holders that want to use FSC certification as their main compliance tool. This includes

  3. An overview of the main findings from the comparative analysis undertaken to help us better focus our alignment efforts.

  4. An overview of the approach & structure FSC has taken towards alignment, in terms of normative requirements as well as preparing digital and data solutions such as FSC’s Blockchain developments. 

  5. Getting ready for the launch of the consultation on the FSC Regulatory Module 

  6. Next Steps towards EUDR alignment - the roadmap and upcoming milestones as we work towards a more sustainable and deforestation-free future.
