Philippe NKENNE TIKENG

Philippe Nkenne Tikeng joined ATIBT as a Junior Project Manager to support the technical work of the Tropical Timber Trade Facility (TTT) project. Trained as a bioengineer, he holds a degree in forest and natural area management (Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech – ULg) and a professional master’s in wood harvesting and processing (University of Dschang). Based in Gembloux, he brings strong scientific and analytical skills to strengthen the production of technical information for the forest sector.

Before joining ATIBT, Philippe had already collaborated on the Vulnerability project, working on the conservation status of key Central African commercial species for assessment against IUCN Red List criteria, and supporting Central African countries in drafting Analyses of Causes of Non-Performance (ACNP). Within TTT, he contributes to methodological tool development, the compilation and consolidation of structured databases, the production of technical fact sheets—especially IUCN-format species profiles—and the scientific validation of deliverables, in close coordination with ATIBT experts and partners.
