Call for applications – Audit of the OFAC information system

08.09.2025

The Central African Forest Observatory (OFAC), a specialized unit of COMIFAC, is inviting applications for the recruitment of an external consultant to conduct an audit of its information system.

Created in 2007, OFAC provides up-to-date and relevant data on the region's forests and ecosystems to support governance, sustainable natural resource management, and monitoring of international commitments. As part of the migration of its information system to a new hosting infrastructure, a comprehensive audit is planned to assess the technical, organizational, and functional status quo, identify risks and opportunities, and propose a roadmap toward a sustainable and secure solution.

The consultant (individual or company) will be responsible for conducting technical and organizational audits, comparing hosting solutions, evaluating costs, and making operational recommendations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in information system auditing, cloud deployment, and IS governance, as well as the ability to work in institutional and international contexts.

The assignment is scheduled to last 12 weeks, starting at the end of July 2025. Applications (CV, company presentation, methodological note, financial offer) must be sent by email to recrutement@frm-france.com before September 15, 2025.

The complete call for applications document, including the terms of reference, is available as an attachment.
