The program will focus on:

  • the recovery of by-products and the role of panels in the circular economy,
  • eco-design and product recyclability solutions,
  • new market expectations and strategies to reduce the carbon footprint,
  • as well as industrial case studies and forward-looking roundtables on the role of panels in the ecological transition.

In this context, Caroline Duhesme, Director of Innovation and Strategy at ATIBT, will take part in the roundtable "Testimonies from sector actors on the implementation of the EUDR and wood traceability challenges."

She will present the perspective of the tropical timber sector, highlighting:

  • the impacts of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) on the sector,
  • the concrete preparation measures undertaken by tropical operators,
  • and the direct links with French market segments, in particular plywood.

Her participation will aim to bridge the realities of tropical and European markets and foster a constructive dialogue for a coherent and effective implementation of the EUDR.
