As part of the Tropical Timber Trade Facility (TTT) project, ATIBT is offering an internship opportunity for students enrolled in a Master's degree programme in Marketing, International Trade or Wood Science with an interest in Marketing.
This internship is part of a strategic initiative to support two forest concessions in the commercial promotion of lesser-known tropical timber species (LKTS). These species, which are still little used on international markets, nevertheless represent an essential lever for reducing pressure on traditionally exploited species and strengthening the economic resilience of forestry companies.
The intern will play an operational role in transforming technical and scientific data into promotional tools that are accessible, attractive and tailored to market expectations. This assignment has several components:
This internship is a unique opportunity to develop within a multi-stakeholder project involving forestry companies, research institutions and importers. It also offers practical experience at the interface between science, industry and the market, with a view to diversifying the uses of tropical timber in line with sustainability objectives.
The position is based at ATIBT's headquarters in Nogent-sur-Marne, for a period of six months starting in February-March.
