ATIBT is participating in 2026 edition of Les Nuits des Forêts

12.06.2026

The 2026 edition of Nuits des Forêts takes place between 5 and 21 June on the theme ‘Listening to living things’. Over 400 events are scheduled across more than 250 venues in mainland France, Réunion, New Caledonia and Mayotte: https://nuitsdesforets.com/edition-2026/

The Nuits des Forêts festival, launched in 2021, invites visitors to learn more about the forests around us by meeting the people who depend on them and exploring the challenges they face. Its aim is to forge a connection on forests between local residents, foresters, artists and the natural world.

The Jardin d’Agronomie Tropicale-René Dumont in Paris, located to the east of the Bois de Vincennes, is an ambassador site for this year’s event. Numerous events are held there: https://www.cite-developpement-durable.org/les-nuits-des-forets/

As part of this, on 20 June from 4pm to 6pm, the Cité du Développement Durable is organising a ‘clinic for living things’. This initiative shifts the perspective to view forests as a living entity to be understood and cared for. The aim is specifically to explore the ills afflicting the forest and to offer symbolic healing, by combining the perspectives of a forest expert and an artist. Several issues will be addressed through a walking tour featuring various stations within the Garden. ATIBT is proud to participate in this initiative by sharing its expertise on tropical forests.

We hope to see you there! Registration is free but compulsory: [Nuits des forêts] La Clinique des Vivants
