CIRAD is looking for a researcher on a permanent contract to work on the development of innovative materials adapted to the Gabonese context by valorizing secondary species and local processing residues. The person recruited will participate in the research projects of the BioWoodEB unit.
The missions of this researcher will be to conduct research and supervise students in the field of material and plant sciences, to contribute to the teaching of the Institut de Recherche Technologique (IRT) and the Ecole Nationale Eaux et Forêts (ENEF), and to strengthen scientific activities and cooperation with Gabon, and more broadly Central Africa.
The position will first be based for a maximum of a year and a half in Montpellier, France, and then in Libreville, Gabon.
