The ATIBT expresses its deep regret following the announcement of the death of Mr. Raymond NDOMBA NGOYE, former Executive Secretary of COMIFAC of Gabonese nationality, on Saturday 18 June 2022 in Libreville, Gabon.
Mr. Raymond NDOMBA NGOYE was a timber industry engineer who served in turn as Deputy Executive Secretary and Technical Coordinator of COMIFAC from 2005 to 2009 and then as Executive Secretary of the same institution from 2016 to 2021. In addition, he was National Coordinator of COMIFAC in his country and has held several other positions of responsibility on forestry issues in Gabon.
ATIBT joins COMIFAC in saluting the memory of this man of exemplary conviction and integrity, as well as the major role he played in the conservation and sustainable management of Central African forest ecosystems.

The ATIBT team will also remember Raymond NDOMBA NGOYE's open-mindedness, his kindness and his availability to the actors of the profession.
