ATIBT members who plan to attend can contact us. COP30 is particularly important: it will mark a decisive step in the implementation of the Paris Agreement and in international negotiations on climate and biodiversity in a country where forests will be more than well represented.
On this occasion, ATIBT will participate through its Carbon & Biodiversity Commission, in order to represent the tropical forestry sector in discussions on nature-based solutions, carbon markets, and biodiversity financing mechanisms.
ATIBT has submitted proposals for side events, currently under review, at various pavilions to address issues of sustainable forest management and innovative financing mechanisms to sustain this model.
We would like to identify which ATIBT members will also be present in Belém. This will enable us to better coordinate our discussions, promote your initiatives, and enhance the collective visibility of our network at this major event.
