International Hardwood Conference 2026: a key event for the global timber sector in Antwerp

27.03.2026

On November 5–6, 2026, Antwerp will host the 11th edition of the International Hardwood Conference, one of the most anticipated events for stakeholders in the global hardwood market.

Organized by Fedustria, in partnership with the European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry (EOS) and the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF), the conference will bring together key players from across the timber value chain to discuss major market trends and strategic challenges ahead.

The event will unfold over two complementary days. On November 5, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Port of Antwerp—the second-largest port in Europe—followed by a welcome reception offering valuable networking opportunities. The main conference day will take place on November 6 at the Lindner Hotel, concluding with a networking dinner in a unique setting.

The conference will provide in-depth insights into hardwood market trends, with a strong focus on production and consumption dynamics across key global markets. In a rapidly evolving geopolitical context, speakers will offer perspectives on future developments and help industry stakeholders anticipate and adapt to ongoing changes.

For ATIBT members, this event represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen their network, promote the role of tropical timber in international markets, and actively contribute to discussions shaping the future of the sector.

Further details on the programme will be shared in due course.
