Under the European Union’s NaturAfrica initiative, WWF International, supported by Pegasys and its partner TEREA, is launching a Call for Information to identify businesses and green economy opportunities combining commercial potential with benefits for conservation and local communities across the Tri-National Dja-Odzala-Minkébé (TRIDOM) landscape in Cameroon, the Republic of Congo and Gabon.
TEREA, as a partner of Pegasys, is supporting WWF International in this initiative to identify opportunities that can contribute to the development of a green economy across the TRIDOM landscape. The aim is to identify commercially viable businesses and value chains, as well as promising opportunities with a credible pathway towards commercial viability. Opportunities should combine business potential with benefits for conservation, biodiversity and/or local livelihoods.
The call covers a range of sectors, including responsible forestry, cocoa and other sustainable agricultural value chains, non-timber forest products, aquaculture, off-grid energy, nature-based tourism, rubber, responsible artisanal mining and oil palm.
Of particular relevance to ATIBT members is the responsible forestry component. Opportunities may include maintaining or expanding forest certification, adding value to and processing certified timber, converting wood-processing residues into sustainable products, and developing complementary revenue streams through carbon or biodiversity finance.
Depending on their nature and stage of development, selected opportunities may receive technical support to strengthen their investment case, prepare investor-facing materials, access expert advice and practical tools, and connect with potential investors and funders.
This is a Call for Information and does not provide grants or direct funding. The purpose is to identify and better understand potential green economy opportunities in the TRIDOM landscape. Selection does not constitute a commitment or guarantee of investment.
Private companies, SMEs, producer cooperatives, community organisations, community forestry entities, financial intermediaries, social enterprises and NGOs operating revenue-generating businesses are among those eligible to respond.
Submission deadline: 16 September 2026. Responses may be submitted in English or French.
