On November 5 and 6, 2026, Antwerp will host the 11th edition of the International Hardwood Conference. Producers, traders, processors, and representatives of trade organizations will gather to analyze trends in global markets, share their perspectives, and develop new business relationships.
Organized by Fedustria, in close collaboration with the European Organization of the Sawmill Industry (EOS) and the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF), the International Hardwood Conference is a key event for international players in the hardwood industry.
This 11th edition will take place on November 5 and 6, 2026, in Antwerp, one of Europe’s leading centers for the timber trade and processing. It will bring together companies and experts from Europe, North America, Asia, and other major producing and consuming regions.
The first day, Thursday, November 5, will be devoted to a professional tour of the Port of Antwerp. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the port’s wood-related activities and gain a better understanding of the role this logistics hub plays in international trade. The day will conclude with a welcome reception.
The conference will take place on Friday, November 6. Presentations and discussions will focus in particular on the sector’s economic situation and forestry challenges, market trends in Europe, North America, and China, prospects in other regions of the world, as well as the main markets and uses for hardwoods.
The program will bring together representatives from companies, trade associations, and specialized organizations, including Fedustria, EOS, the American Hardwood Export Council, Probos, the European Parquet Federation, CEI-Bois, and WOOD.BE. It will also offer numerous opportunities for networking among producers, traders, processors, and users.
A networking dinner will conclude the event on November 6. To facilitate participation by French-speaking professionals, simultaneous translation of the conference into French will be provided.
Registration is now open. The conference registration fee is 950 euros, including tax. The optional tour of the Port of Antwerp is available for 150 euros, including tax.
