TTT Flash Training: a second webinar dedicated to PAFC environmental requirements

The TTT Flash Training sessions aim to provide practical answers to the difficulties encountered by companies during the certification process. Each session combines a detailed presentation of the requirements with practical examples and experience shared by the trainers.

Following the first session dedicated to forest traceability and the PAFC/PEFC chain of custody, this second webinar will examine several environmental indicators contained in the PAFC standard.

During the two-hour session, participants will explore the following topics:

the five-year and annual environmental programme: how to develop and use it, and how it can serve as an effective monitoring tool;
the identification and management rules applicable to Ecologically Important Forest Areas, and how these areas differ from High Conservation Value Forests;
wildlife and hunting management plans, moving beyond an approach limited to strict conservation;
the identification and calculation of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon stocks, as well as the tools available.

The training will provide guidance on the interpretation of requirements, auditors’ expectations and the evidence to be provided. Practical cases and feedback from field experience will also illustrate the procedures that companies can implement. Time will be reserved for participants to ask questions directly to the trainers.

The webinar is intended in particular for forest concession holders, certification managers, auditors and representatives of public authorities. Prior knowledge of FSC or PAFC standards would be useful but is not required.
