After eight years at ATIBT, where she was in charge of actions on sustainability and the FLEGT action plan, of which she is an expert, as well as a stint in the non-profit organization Nature +, Bérénice Castadot has chosen to become independent.

Bérénice holds a diploma in bio-engineering in Nature, Eaux et Forêts (Nature, water and forest) from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in Gembloux (Belgium).
It also has the Aggregation of Upper Secondary Education awarded by this same Faculty.
Why did you decide to join ATIBT?
« As an individual, I am very attached to the ATIBT, which gave me a chance when I had just graduated and was a great school for me. Thanks to ATIBT, I had the courage to start TFM.
On a professional level, the ATIBT is the only structure that brings Africa and Europe together on topical issues for the African forest sector, including legality, sustainable management, vocational training and plantations; themes that interest me and which I work on.
Becoming a member of the ATIBT family was obvious to me. »
