The successful candidate will analyse markets, identify the needs of companies, prepare business matchmaking, write notes and operational recommendations, and help design and deliver training. They will work with the International Trade Centre (ITC) teams, ATIBT’s regulatory experts (EUDR, CITES) and country representatives in Côte d’Ivoire, Congo and Cameroon.

At least seven years of experience in the timber sector (market analysis, international trade, purchasing, export or business development), with good knowledge of FLEGT and of African timber markets, in particular Côte d’Ivoire. Ability to analyse trade data (Trade Map, UN Comtrade), write syntheses, and lead training or present analyses to professional audiences. Rigour, neutrality, autonomy and diplomacy are expected. Professional French and English (spoken and written) are required; Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
