The ATCMA Programme launches a regional campaign to identify companies in the wood, cocoa and cassava value chains

17.07.2026

The Programme for Trade Competitiveness and Market Access in Central Africa (ATCMA-ECCAS), funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in partnership with the Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), is launching a regional campaign to identify companies in the wood, cocoa and cassava value chains.

This campaign is an essential step in preparing the programme’s future activities. It aims to gain a better knowledge of companies, their activities, needs, constraints and development prospects in order to adapt interventions to realities on the ground.

The companies concerned are invited to respond to a questionnaire which will make it possible, in particular, to:

  • map the economic actors of the targeted value chains;
  • identify the main needs in terms of competitiveness, quality, investment and market access;
  • guide the programme’s future technical support;
  • strengthen coordination with existing initiatives.

The questionnaire is aimed in particular at producers, processors, exporters, cooperatives, SMEs, professional organisations and other companies operating in the wood, cocoa and cassava value chains.

Why apply

Selected companies will be able to benefit from technical support, which may include:

  • support with quality assurance, certification, traceability and sustainable practices;
  • business assessments and the development of modernisation plans;
  • support for modernisation, digitalisation and the improvement of production processes;
  • technical training and coaching;
  • support for business development, exports and participation in trade fairs, exhibitions and business meetings.

Response deadline: 7 August 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (GMT+1)
