The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination of the project across its four priority countries: Cameroon, Gabon, Congo-Brazzaville, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

About the ADEFAC 2 Project

Funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) for the period 2026–2030, ADEFAC 2 is implemented by RIFFEAC, acting as the Project Owner, with ATIBT serving as the Delegated Project Owner.

Building on the work of ADEFAC 1, the project aims to develop a continuing professional training program tailored to the evolving needs of the forestry and timber sector in Central Africa, particularly in the areas of local processing, legality, traceability, the development of domestic timber markets, and capacity building for micro-enterprises, SMEs, and artisans.

Main Responsibilities

  • coordinating the four National Project Managers and harmonizing activities across countries;
  • developing annual work plans and budgets and monitoring indicators;
  • preparing the project’s technical and financial reports;
  • overseeing administrative, financial, and budgetary management;
  • support procurement, audits, and the verification of expenditure compliance;
  • coordinate short-term expert assignments and ensure the quality of activities;
  • integrate issues related to gender, communication, and knowledge sharing;
  • represent the project to institutional and professional partners.

ATIBT, in collaboration with RIFFEAC, invites candidates to express their interest in providing the services described in the call for expressions of interest available HERE.
