Rougier obtains new FSC certification for its MOKABI-DZANGA forestry unit

ATIBT is delighted that its member Rougier has obtained new SFM FSC certification for its MOKABI-DZANGA forest management unit, located in northern Congo and covering 586,330 hectares.

This certification, awarded following an initial audit carried out in June (FSC-C205497), marks an important milestone for the group.

Combined with the already certified concessions of Rougier Gabon, it brings the total area of the Group's FSC-certified forest concessions in the Congo Basin to nearly 1.5 million hectares. This achievement illustrates Rougier's ongoing commitment to applying the most demanding environmental and social standards across all its activities.

This new recognition also confirms the Group's ability to replicate proven models of sustainable forest managementthat benefit local communities while preserving the ecosystem services of tropical forests. It also meets the expectations of buyers of forest products, who are increasingly attentive to the traceability and measurable proof of the positive impacts of their supplies.

ATIBT congratulates all Rougier employees and partners for this achievement, which consolidates the Group's position as a major player in tropical forest conservation and sustainable development in the Congo Basin.
