This week, technical sheet number 4 is getting back up to standard.
As part of its technical information mission, ATIBT has just published an updated version of its data sheet n°4 on the natural durability of wood.
This update brings a number of improvements:
- Greater consistency with current standards, notably NF EN 350 (durability) and NF EN 335 (use class).
- Clarification of use classes
- A discussion of the relationship between natural durability and conditions of use.
- Clarification of certain definitions, notably heartwood and sapwood
This data sheet is aimed at all players in the timber industry and is available on our website in the technical publications, timber materials & standardization category.
